Galvanized steel sheet (GL) is a steel sheet coated with aluminum-zinc alloy on carbon steel sheet through a continuous hot dip process similar to the galvanizing process. The nominal coating composition is 55% aluminum and 45% zinc.
Galvanized steel sheet (GL) has high aluminum content, 55% in quality and 80% in capacity. Compared with ordinary hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, it has better heat resistance. Even if exposed to high temperature, it will not cause a significant increase in mass due to oxidation, nor will it cause surface fading due to gradual alloying.
